Senior React Native Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior React Native Developer responsible for building scalable cross-platform mobile applications and leading the adoption of React Native within a large-scale native iOS and Android ecosystem while optimizing performance and enabling collaboration across multiple engineering teams.(Hybrid, PA or NC)

Must Have skills

• React Native development for cross-platform mobile applications
• TypeScript for scalable and maintainable mobile codebases
• Integration of native iOS and Android modules (brownfield approach)
• Mobile performance optimization (startup time, memory usage, frame-rate stability)
• UI implementation and state management for mobile applications
• Integration of third-party SDKs and platform-specific configurations

Nice to have skills

• Experience leading React Native adoption within large mobile engineering organizations
• React Native for Web development
• Cross-platform design systems and shared component libraries
• Expo SDK and EAS Build/Submit/Update workflows
• CI/CD pipelines and automation (GitHub Actions, EAS Build)
• Mobile app distribution platforms (TestFlight, Google Play Console)

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and integration of React Native within an existing native mobile ecosystem.
• Design and develop high-performance, scalable mobile features across iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
• Optimize mobile application performance including startup time, bundle size, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Contribute to the evolution of mobile architecture, tooling, and cross-platform frameworks.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote best practices across mobile teams.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated release pipelines, and mobile distribution platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Expo SDK, EAS workflows, and OTA delivery mechanisms.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in hybrid and distributed teams.
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects from concept to delivery in fast-paced environments.
