Clinical Customer Service Rep - Cardiovascular Surgical ICU

Full time – Day Shift – 40 hours

The Clinical Customer Service Representative works as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and members of the health care team. This is a fast-paced position that requires professional, friendly and efficient performance of the daily duties. The ideal candidate will possess the highest level of Customer Service skills, knowledge of information & computer systems, the ability to work and assist with Nursing staff & Administrative staff, all in the effort to meet the needs of the unit, department in accordance with Johns Hopkins Hospital policy and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting
  • Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
  • Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
  • Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.99/hour - Maximum $20.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.

The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
