Position: Software Engineer (Embedded Systems & MBSE)

Location: Fully Remote

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of real-time embedded software within a systems-modernization environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-quality solutions while adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software for real-time system applications.

Collaborate with systems engineering teams to support MBSE workflows.

Analyze software requirements and contribute to architecture and design activities.

Develop high-quality, maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices.

Integrate software with hardware and system components.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across the development lifecycle.

Write clear, concise technical documentation and effectively communicate with team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (required).

5+ years of professional experience developing embedded software.

Hands-on expertise with:

GitLab

Python

Cameo API (Javadocs)

PostgreSQL

JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in real-time or safety-critical embedded environments.

Understanding of modern software development methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to evolving technical challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
