We are looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer for our client in Toronto, ON

Job Description
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to write SQL queries to generate reports.
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering tools such as PagerDuty.
- Understanding of one or more programming languages, databases, platforms, code management tooling, or web technologies.
- 2 years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, results-oriented environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Experience analyzing monitoring dashboards such as Dynatrace and logging systems such as ELK.
- Experience leading investigation and resolution of application operational failures.
- Experience participating in release walkthrough reviews, implementation plans, and testing plans.
- Experience creating and maintaining support documentation and operational processes.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple IT teams and business units.
- Familiarity with ITSM preferred.
- Experience with architecture or process workflow analysis and design preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform system health checks, monitoring, alerting, and take corresponding actions as required.
- Lead investigation and analysis of application operational failures through resolution and support root cause identification.
- Analyze system monitoring dashboards and logging tools to identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks.
- Ensure production and maintenance of high-quality support documents and operational processes.
- Promote innovative methods of working and implement best practices.
- Participate in project release walkthroughs, handover specifications, implementation plans, and testing plans.
- Write and execute SQL queries to generate reports and support analysis.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across IT partners, units, and platforms.
Should Have:
- Familiarity with IT Service Management practices.
- Experience with architecture or process workflow analysis and design.

- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Monitoring and incident management expertise.
Qualification and Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
