Job Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the manufacturing of seating systems, ensuring smooth operations, high production quality, and adherence to company standards.

2.Continuously monitor and optimize production costs by improving resource utilization, reducing wastage, and enhancing energy efficiency.

3. Ensure profitability by meeting financial targets, improving margins, and minimizing operational costs through efficient use of machinery, materials, and manpower.

4. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality seating systems on time and maintaining quality standards to minimize customer rejections and complaints.

5. Maximize capacity utilization by minimizing machine downtime and improving production efficiency, targeting optimal use of all plant resources.

6. Oversee machine maintenance to ensure high uptime and prevent breakdowns through effective preventive maintenance programs.

7. Achieve or exceed production targets by optimizing scheduling, planning, and workforce management to ensure continuous output.

8. Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and statutory regulations, obtaining necessary approvals and adhering to legal requirements.

9. Prepare and maintain accurate reports on production, costs, downtime, and plant operations, submitting timely updates to the corporate.

10. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring availability of required materials while maintaining cost efficiency.

11. Lead and motivate a team of employees, fostering a productive environment and encouraging the continuous development of staff through training programs.

12. Conduct reviews with final quality inspectors to ensure first-piece parts meet required standards before mass production begins.

13. Perform process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, identifying opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes.

14. Review customer-related issues during Initial Customer Approval (ICA), ensuring that all concerns are addressed and resolved promptly.

15. Train quality inspectors to improve their understanding of customer-specific requirements and overall inspection processes.

16. Collaborate with production teams to resolve process-related issues and with incoming quality teams to address problems with supplied components.

17. Oversee weld penetration processes to ensure they meet established plans and specifications.

18. Analyze IPPM data and update quality documents to reflect ongoing findings and improvements.

19. Implement and track Kaizen projects aimed at improving both quality and operational efficiency.

20. Review and close non-conformance points from internal and external audits, including IATF and customer audits, ensuring corrective actions are in place.
