Role Overview:
As the Geo Lead- Partners Engagement of Mobile Engineering Services, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage the vendor partners for all mobile engineering-related services within the organization. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement processes for engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for mobile engineering services aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of mobile engineering service providers and consultants.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal value and performance.
- Manage and optimize the procurement process for mobile engineering services, including request for proposals (RFPs), bidding, and contract award procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations & solutions teams, to understand service requirements and ensure procurement activities meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers in the engineering sector.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
- Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Manage and develop the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and key metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with finance and legal departments to manage contractual risks and ensure financial compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management. MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in engineering or technical services procurement.
- Strong understanding of engineering services and the ability to evaluate technical specifications and requirements.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing complex contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in procurement software and systems, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in procurement.
