Job Description
As an Industrial Relations & Compliance Specialist, your role involves maintaining a harmonious relationship with the workforce. You will be responsible for managing union negotiations and long-term settlements, if applicable. Your key responsibilities include ensuring 100% statutory compliance with laws such as the Factories Act, PF, ESI, Payment of Wages, and Contract Labor Act. You will also represent the company in front of labor authorities and handle legal/disciplinary matters.
In the area of Talent Acquisition & Management, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for both white-collar (staff) and blue-collar (workforce) roles. It will be your responsibility to manage the contractual manpower lifecycle, ensuring vendor compliance and efficiency. Additionally, implementing robust onboarding and induction programs to reduce early-stage attrition will be crucial.
Your role also involves driving the annual performance appraisal process for the plant under the Performance & Culture domain. You will need to identify training needs (TNA) and execute technical/soft-skill training programs to improve shop-floor productivity. Moreover, championing employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and foster a "Safety First" culture will be essential.
In terms of Plant Administration, you will be overseeing general administration tasks including canteen management, transport, security, and housekeeping. It will be your responsibility to manage the HR budget and optimize manpower costs without compromising on quality or safety.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations
- Proven experience in handling union negotiations and legal/disciplinary matters
