Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch Manager to join our team. Based in Prince George, the Dispatch Manager will play a crucial role in managing fuel logistics, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of fuel to our customers. Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning of logistics of driver trips
• Monitor fuel loading processes and ensure timely delivery to various locations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation for all dispatch activities.
• Ensure all employees comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, drivers' hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and weights and dimensions
• Analyze logistical data to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure that all staff under your direction are equipped with and are using the proper personal protective equipment
• Maintain shift schedules to ensure sufficient employee coverage

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fuel hauling procedures and regulations
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Intermediate data entry skills
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to analyze logistical data for process improvements
• Familiarity with dispatch processes and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft and Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or related field is a plus.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
