ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Total Rewards Specialist er to join our People Team. This role is focused on designing, delivering, and continuously enhancing our APAC benefits programs while also supporting compensation activities. You will lead complex benefits projects, ensure statutory compliance across APAC region, and partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance and department managers across the region. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, global technology environment and brings both analytical rigor and empathy for the employee experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Benefits

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

  • Own end-to-end administration and compliance of statutory benefit programs across APAC region, including provident fund schemes, social insurance, gratuity, and pension programs.
  • Monitor and implement regulatory updates across applicable labor codes and proactively advise HR leadership on compliance requirements.
  • Manage annual filings, returns, and audit support related to statutory obligations across the region.

Benefits Design, Delivery & Vendor Management

  • Lead the design, governance, and renewal of APAC benefit programs including group medical, life, disability insurance plans, etc.
  • Partner with insurance brokers, TPAs, and vendors to negotiate renewals, evaluate plan designs, and drive cost-effective solutions without compromising employee experience.
  • Manage Flexible Benefit Plan structures where applicable to optimize tax efficiency for employees.
  • Lead benefits annual enrolment and mid-year change events, including communication planning, employee education, and manager enablement.
  • Analyze claims data, utilization trends, cost benchmarks, and employee feedback to recommend plan design improvements.
  • Lead benefit projects such as benefit platform implementation, enablement and communication.

Leave & Absence Management

  • Administer leave programs in compliance with statutory requirements across APAC l
  • Partner with HR Operations and third-party LOA administrator to manage leave programs including maternity, paternity, and medical leaves.
  • Maintain leave policy documentation and ensure alignment with country-specific requirements.

Wellbeing & Employee Experience

  • Design and deliver holistic wellbeing initiatives aligned with Jeppesen ForeFlight's global strategy, adapting them for cultural relevance across the APAC region.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and employee advocate, handling benefit queries, escalations, and life-event support with empathy and urgency.

Compensation

  • Support the administration of global compensation programs such as market pricing, annual compensation cycle, and bonus payments for APAC employees, ensuring consistency with global frameworks and local market competitiveness.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on job leveling, offer structuring, and internal pay reviews across APAC markets.
  • Support compensation projects such as job architecture, career frameworks, and salary structure development and upkeep.
  • Participate in APAC compensation surveys and conduct local pay analyses to maintain competitive positioning.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 8+ years of total rewards experience with a strong focus on APAC benefits design, statutory compliance, and vendor management.
  • Deep working knowledge of APAC labor laws and statutory programs across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for data modeling, benefits cost analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with UKG platform and Pave compensation planning tool preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to translate complex regulatory and benefits information for employees and leadership across time zones and cultures.
  • Prior exposure to flexible benefit plan design and tax optimization structuring across APAC markets.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Exposure to job levelling, career frameworks, salary structure development, or pay equity analysis.
  • Experience participating in compensation surveys and analysing market competitiveness.
  • Experience leading or supporting benefits platform implementations or process improvement projects.
  • Strong ability to translate complex compensation/benefits data into clear insights for leadership and employees.
