Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced bilingual

Employee Relations Specialist

to join our Shared Services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional-quality Subject Matter Expert advice and execution on complex Employee Relations matters, managing multiple high-level cases from initiation to comprehensive resolution.

You will join a collaborative, fast-paced regional team dedicated to supporting people managers, mitigating risk, and fostering a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Case Management & Investigation:

Manage Tier 3 Employee Relations cases—including disciplinary actions, policy breaches, progressive performance management, ethics hotline investigations, and terminations—partnering with internal and external legal advisors to drive consistent resolution.

  • Manager Coaching & Consultation:

Provide ongoing support, guidance, and coaching to people managers on day-to-day employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance standards.

  • Strategic Change & Risk Mitigation:

Offer critical Employee Relations and Labor Relations execution advice for organizational changes, acquisitions, and business restructures while proactively assessing and mitigating operational risks.

  • Process Optimization & Insights:

Continually review documented HR processes to ensure consistency across the team, while leveraging case data to deliver reporting, root-cause analysis, and actionable insights to key stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor standards, workplace investigation techniques, and risk management strategies.
  • Fluency in both English and French

(Bi-lingual capability is required).

  • Exceptional conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • High degree of comfort with change and the resilience to make sound, courageous decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience working within a regional shared services organization is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Vos responsabilités

Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous devrez :

  • Gestion de cas et enquêtes :

Gérer les dossiers de niveau 3 en relations avec les employés — incluant les mesures disciplinaires, les manquements aux politiques, la gestion progressive du rendement, les enquêtes de la ligne d'éthique et les fins d'emploi — en partenariat avec les conseillers juridiques internes et externes afin d'assurer des résolutions cohérentes.

  • Coaching et consultation auprès des gestionnaires :

Offrir un soutien continu, des conseils et du coaching aux gestionnaires de personnel sur les questions quotidiennes de relations avec les employés, la résolution de conflits et les normes de rendement.

  • Changements stratégiques et atténuation des risques :

Fournir des conseils d'exécution essentiels en relations avec les employés et en relations de travail lors de changements organisationnels, d'acquisitions et de restructurations d'entreprise, tout en évaluant et en atténuant de manière proactive les risques opérationnels.

  • Optimisation des processus et analyses :

Réviser continuellement les processus RH documentés pour assurer l'uniformité au sein de l'équipe, tout en tirant parti des données de dossiers pour produire des rapports, des analyses de causes profondes et des perspectives exploitables pour les parties prenantes clés.

Votre profil

Le candidat idéal possède les qualifications suivantes :

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience progressive en ressources humaines, avec une expertise démontrée en relations avec les employés.
  • Solide connaissance des normes du travail, des techniques d'enquête en milieu de travail et des stratégies de gestion des risques.
  • Maîtrise parfaite de l'anglais et du français (le bilinguisme est obligatoire).
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en résolution de conflits et en gestion des parties prenantes, avec une capacité éprouvée à bâtir des partenariats dans un environnement matriciel complexe.
  • Grand confort face au changement et résilience nécessaire pour prendre des décisions judicieuses et courageuses dans des situations de haute pression.
  • Expérience de travail au sein d'une organisation régionale de services partagés (un atout).
  • Baccalauréat (de préférence).
