Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auditor & Accountant for our logistics company. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, auditing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records related to logistics and transportation activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting and financial transactions
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense statements
- Verify shipment-related expenses, freight charges, and billing
- Conduct internal audits for logistics and operational accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts
- Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements
- Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for billing accuracy
- Assist external auditors during audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Experience in accounting/auditing, preferably in logistics or transportation industry
- Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Good understanding of taxation and financial compliance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
