Power BI Developer - INTL India

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 8–10 years of experience to join a contract engagement starting immediately. This is a fully remote offshore role open to candidates based in India, with working hours aligned to Indian Standard Time with a late start and early finish.

You will be responsible for building Power BI reports and dashboards from scratch with a focus on sales and finance reporting. You will write SQL queries and Python scripts to support data transformation and report development. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues across existing legacy Tableau reports as stakeholders surface them.

Skills and Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or reporting development capacity.
• Active, hands‑on Power BI development experience, must be able to build end to end from scratch.
• Strong SQL skills applied directly to reporting and data preparation.
• Python experience used in a BI or data context.
• Demonstrated experience building sales and finance focused reports for business stakeholders.
• Hands‑on Tableau experience, specifically supporting and troubleshooting legacy reports in a stakeholder‑facing environment.
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts as they apply to BI development. Experience working with cross‑functional business stakeholders across finance and sales functions.
