Power BI Data Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of enterprise‑level reporting dashboards supporting ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives within a retail environment. This role partners closely with cross‑functional technology teams as well as Sustainability and Climate business stakeholders.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, modeling, and managing data; building semantic data models; and delivering high‑quality reports and dashboards. The role requires strong expertise in data visualization, DAX queries, and relationship modeling to evaluate results and present insights strategically.

Experience Level

• Senior level with 8+ years of relevant experience with dashboards & PowerBI

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise‑scale retail ESG and sustainability reporting dashboards
• Design and build semantic data models to support reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with cross‑functional technology, sustainability, and climate teams
• Manage, analyze, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Create reports and dashboards using visualization tools, DAX queries, charts, and relationships
• Support the ESG Reporting Technology team and ongoing platform enhancements

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of advanced data analysis and dashboarding experience using Power BI
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake
• Strong experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric administration
• Experience supporting retail data, reporting, or enterprise analytics environments preferred
