Intermediate Fullstack Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer to join a development team supporting multiple small‑to‑medium initiatives within an enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a junior‑to‑intermediate developer (around 5 years of experience) who has a strong technical foundation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new technologies. The developer will work across multiple smaller projects, providing flexibility and exposure to different areas of the application stack. This is a contingent role with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and future program needs. Responsibilities include the below: Develop and enhance applications using Java, .NET, and Angular Support multiple small development efforts simultaneously as priorities shift Work with Spring Boot–based applications Collaborate with a team of 6 developers, a development manager, and stakeholders Contribute to web services and web components Follow modern SDLC and enterprise development standards Participate in hands‑on technical problem solving and enhancements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of professional software development experience working in enterprise or large‑scale application environments.
• GitHub Copilot
• Azure Services (App Service, Identities, DevOps…)
• containerization with Docker helpful
• actual years of development experience on a successful project
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring/Springboot, Web Services (SOAP, JSON and RESTFul).
• HTTP1.1/2, HTML 2026, CSS 2026 -node.js, Angular and/or React development
• Web Standards (WebSockets, WebComponents, WebStorage,…):
• tools like Tailwind, Vite, Wireit
• strong background developing .NET applications
• .NET10/C# 14
• understanding of asynchronous coding and dependency injection
• understanding of common development patterns

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• financial experience
• Experience working with Spring Boot–based applications
