Job Description
We are hiring Data Center Technicians (L1–L3) to support a large-scale deployment project in Mackenzie, BC. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on rack & stack, cabling, and hardware installs within a live data center environment.
Location: Mackenzie, BC (onsite)
Duration: 2-month contract
Travel: Required (flights/transport + accommodations covered)
- Install, rack, and cable servers, switches, and network hardware
- Perform structured cabling (fiber and copper)
- Label, organize, and maintain rack layouts
- Execute hardware swaps and basic troubleshooting
- Support deployment teams with physical infrastructure builds
- Follow site procedures and safety standards
Required Experience
- 0–3+ years of IT / data center / field technician experience
- Experience with rack & stack / cabling / hardware installs
- Comfortable working in a physical environment (lifting, standing, ladders)
- Ability to follow SOPs and work in structured environments
- Willingness to travel and stay onsite for project duration
Nice to Have
- Prior data center experience
- Basic networking or server hardware knowledge
- Experience in high-volume deployment projects
