Counsellor/Psychotherapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse patient populations, including children and adults. This role involves collaborating with medical professionals to deliver comprehensive client care through virtual services. The Psychotherapist will utilize their expertise in research, case management, and client care to improve mental health outcomes and support overall well-being. This is a remote position, candidate must have strong internet connection to conduct counselling sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions tailored to patients’ needs.
• Manage case documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Trauma-informed certification, EMDR, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT experience
• Maintain a compassionate approach while managing sensitive patient information and ensuring confidentiality.

Requirments

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with appropriate licensure (CCPA).
• Liability insurance
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities including but not limited to CBT, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Trauma informed training and specific experience using trauma therapy modalities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development through training opportunities.
• Proficiency in case management
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: From $75.00 per hour
