Data Engineer – IAM / Entra Migration

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite; subject to change)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Extension possible)

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Overview

We are seeking a senior Data Engineer to support enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including large-scale application migrations and MFA enablement. This role combines data engineering, dashboard development, and rollout support within a global IAM program.

The successful candidate will help onboard applications to Entra ID, enable Single Sign-On (SSO), track MFA rollout progress, and build executive-level reporting dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support application onboarding and migration to Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Enable SSO and assist with MFA rollout across global user groups
• Map and reconcile identity data across multiple systems (AD, ServiceNow, IAM platforms)
• Build and maintain dashboards to track migration progress and MFA registration
• Develop reporting logic and provide regular performance updates to leadership
• Partner with architecture, engineering, QA, and application teams to support rollout execution
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering (SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, data modeling)
• 3–4+ years of experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle concepts
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts (SSO, RBAC, identity governance)
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale rollouts or migrations

Nice to Have

• Experience with Active Directory, ServiceNow, and identity data integration
• Experience supporting MFA, VPN, or VDI rollouts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and Entra reporting tools
• Azure or IAM-related certifications
