Rate: $50–$65/hour (Incorporated)

Location: Remote (Canada)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Role Overview

The LMS Administrator supports enterprise learning initiatives by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing a corporate Learning Management System (SumTotal LMS). This role ensures accurate audience targeting, compliance with training requirements, and efficient execution of LMS operations.

This is a platform administration and configuration role, not an instructional design or content development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage courses, curricula, and learning assignments within SumTotal LMS
• Interpret HR data to accurately scope and target learner audiences
• Ensure training compliance requirements are correctly implemented
• Maintain data integrity, system documentation, and configuration standards
• Manage and respond to LMS-related tickets and workflow requests
• Consult with internal stakeholders to gather and document LMS configuration requirements
• Support scalable learning delivery and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on LMS platform administration experience
• Prior experience with SumTotal LMS (required)
• Ability to interpret and apply HR data for audience targeting
• Experience working with ticketing systems and workflow tools
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Effective stakeholder communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience within financial services
• Background in HR, Learning & Development, or Instructional Design
• Related certifications in Learning/Instructional Technology
