Job Description
As an Analyst - Cost Accounting at Flex, you will be part of an extraordinary team that contributes to the growth of the company by supporting the manufacturing of cutting-edge products. You will report to the Manager and play a vital role in cost accounting activities. Your typical day will involve:
- Performing all defined cost accounting activities
- Understanding corporate policies and monitoring key cost accounting metrics
- Implementing time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives through process improvements
- Collaborating with operations team to track reasons for metric non-conformances
- Posting month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP
- Preparing and maintaining SOP in line with the latest processes and documenting them in DMS
- Learning and serving as a backup for the cost accountant
Qualifications we are looking for in candidates:
- B.com/BBA (Finance)/M.com/MBA (Finance)
- Freshers/0-2 years of experience in a relevant field
- Basic level knowledge in Microsoft applications
- Willingness to learn and deploy the skills in day-to-day processes
- Good knowledge in accounting principles
- Understanding and interpreting accounting policies
- Strong team player with analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
