Job Title: Senior Microsoft Intune Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Intune Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise endpoint management environment. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, MDM/MAM, Windows device provisioning, endpoint security, and lifecycle management , with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant device management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and administration of Microsoft Intune for enterprise endpoints across multiple locations and user groups.
- Architect and enforce MDM and MAM strategies , including device-based and user-based policies, group management, and onboarding workflows.
- Design and implement Windows Autopilot, pre-provisioning, and imaging processes , ensuring standardization and efficiency across the enterprise.
- Define and implement enterprise-wide endpoint security policies , vulnerability management, and remediation procedures.
- Oversee device lifecycle management , including provisioning, compliance, decommissioning, and record cleanup.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to align Intune configurations with enterprise security posture and compliance requirements .
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives , including automation, process optimization, and operational best practices for endpoint management.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrators, establishing operational standards and documentation.
- Participate in strategic planning for endpoint architecture, integration with SCCM/Endpoint Manager, and adoption of new Microsoft 365 security features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of MDM vs MAM concepts , use cases, and policy implementation strategies.
- Expertise in device-based vs user-based policies , group-based access, and enterprise onboarding workflows.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Windows imaging, bloatware management, and pre-provisioning .
- Proven experience with endpoint security, vulnerability management, and remediation practices.
- Experience managing device lifecycle processes , compliance, and reporting in enterprise environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead design sessions, provide architectural recommendations, and document enterprise processes .
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, MD-101, or Endpoint Manager Expert .
- Experience with SCCM/Endpoint Manager integration and hybrid device management.
- Experience in enterprise-scale architecture design for device management and endpoint security.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) as applied to endpoint security.

Qualifications
- Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related; Master’s preferred.
- Required: Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) or equivalent.
- Preferred: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP, CISM, GIAC.
- Experience
- 5+ years in IT/security roles, with 2–3+ years hands-on Microsoft security (Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID).
- Proven track record in SOC operations, incident response, and cloud security engineering.
- Technical Skills
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint/Identity/Cloud Apps, Entra ID, Purview, and Defender for Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, KQL).
- Robust understanding of network security, application security, and vulnerability management.
- Basic knowledge on Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot

- Security Architecture & Engineering
- Design and deploy secure network, infrastructure, and Azure cloud architectures using Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview.
- Select, integrate, and optimize security tools (SIEM/SOAR, firewalls, EDR, DLP).
- Embed security into DevOps/CI-CD pipelines via automation (Logic Apps, PowerShell, KQL).
- Security Operations & Incident Response
- Configure and tune detection rules and workbooks in Sentinel; build automated playbooks for common incidents.
- Lead triage, investigation, and root-cause analysis of alerts from Defender and Sentinel.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, log review, and vulnerability assessments.
- Identity & Access Management
- Implement and manage Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management, and RBAC in Entra ID.
- Enforce least-privilege principles and lifecycle policies across users, groups, and service identities.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Maintain alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, and GDPR using Secure Score and Compliance Manager.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and audit controls.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor SOC analysts and engineers, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and business units to integrate security into all projects.
