Role Description:
We are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our Mumbai office. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing wireless network solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting connectivity issues, maintaining network security, analyzing network traffic for optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational networking needs. This role requires expertise in wireless networking protocols and a proactive approach to solving complex network challenges.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Wireless Networking, including design, implementation, and management of wireless solutions
- Experience in Network Engineering and Network Design to architect and implement robust network systems
- Strong Network Administration skills with a focus on monitoring, managing, and maintaining reliable network infrastructure
- Excellent Troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve complex network issues
- Hands-on experience with Aruba Networks Access Points (APs), including deployment, RF tuning, controller-based and controllerless architecture, SSID/VLAN design, roaming optimization, and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Experience with Fortinet FortiAP deployment, configuration, FortiGate integration, wireless security policies, and centralized wireless management
- Strong knowledge of Aruba ClearPass NAC for AAA services, 802.1X authentication, guest access, BYOD onboarding, posture assessment, profiling, and policy enforcement
- Experience with FortiNAC for endpoint visibility, device profiling, network segmentation, compliance enforcement, and secure access control
- Familiarity with Aruba Central for cloud-based monitoring, provisioning, AI-powered troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of wireless infrastructure
- Knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP-TLS, captive portals, guest Wi-Fi solutions, and secure enterprise authentication mechanisms
- Familiarity with the latest technologies and industry standards in networking
- Ability to work effectively as part of an on-site team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional (ACP), Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are advantageous
- Experience in enterprise-level environments is a plus
