Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Husky TechnologiesTM, you will be a part of the Platform Engineering team focusing on Azure cloud platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain InfrastructureasCode (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability, security, and automation to support software delivery across multiple teams. Your technical expertise will be crucial in solving complex platform problems and collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement solutions based on the defined Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Own complex implementations at the component/module level.
- Translate approved requirements and designs into working software.
- Break down assigned features into actionable tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects and production issues.
- Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and Platform teams.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Write reliable, readable, and maintainable code following agreed standards and best practices.
- Participate in meaningful code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Drive developer enablement by building reusable templates/tooling and improving developer experience through automation and standardization.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud/DevOps/platform engineering, with at least 3+ years in IaC and CI/CD foundations.
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure platform engineering.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) lifecycle and containerization.
- Experience with CI/CD leadership and security automation in DevSecOps lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps & Git workflows, governance, compliance, and SRE principles.
- Working knowledge of Agile development practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing assignments and priorities.
