BI Developer- Husky (India) Chennai

In this role at Husky TechnologiesTM, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining the companys enterprise business intelligence ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance
• Performing Data Profiling and Data Analysis activities to understand data sources
• Curating reports, defining templates, and creating analytical data models
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements
• Translating business requirements into specifications for reports and dashboards
• Identifying and resolving data reporting issues and seeking continuous improvement opportunities
• Providing technical guidance to designers and stakeholders
• Troubleshooting analytics tool problems and tuning for performance
• Developing semantic layer and analytics query objects for end users
• Ensuring that quality standards are met
• Supporting Master Data Management Strategy

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of ERP and operational system data structures
• Advanced proficiency in writing high-performance SQL queries
• Hands-on experience in data visualization and dashboard design
• Experience with BI solutions within an Azure DevOps environment
• Proficiency with the Microsoft BI Stack, including Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Azure Data Platform services
• Knowledge of Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is considered a strong asset

Business & Functional Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and sales business processes
• Experience working in an international or distributed business environment

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to diagnose data inconsistencies, performance issues, and modeling challenges

Communication & Collaboration:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and design sessions
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required
• Knowledge of German or French is considered an asset
