Facilities Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations of a commercial office and warehouse environment located in Burnaby, BC. This organization is a well-established provider of integrated facility support services, offering a wide range of maintenance, operational, and vendor coordination solutions to clients across Canada.

This is a part-time, on-site opportunity (approximately 25 hours per week over three days) suited for someone who is highly organized, hands-on, and responsive in a dynamic setting. The successful candidate will serve as the main on-site contact, ensuring the facility runs smoothly while coordinating with service providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site contact for employees, visitors, and external vendors
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or operational issues
• Coordinate daily facility needs across both office and warehouse spaces
• Arrange and supervise third-party service providers (e.g., HVAC, electrical, cleaning)
• Ensure vendors complete work to standard and provide site access as required
• Liaise with property management, contractors, and service partners
• Manage work orders from initiation through to completion
• Verify vendor invoices and support basic administrative processes
• Assist with scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance activities
• Maintain service logs and asset-related records
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives, including hazard identification
• Provide regular updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities coordination, building operations, or property management
• Able to commute to our location in Burnaby, BC
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable using digital tools such as work order systems and email platforms
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is considered an asset
