Role Description

The Fan Coil / Heat Pump Maintenance/Service Technician is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing fan coil units and heat pumps in condominium properties. Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, replacing or repairing components, and ensuring peak system performance. The technician will also provide excellent customer interactions while adhering to company standards and safety protocols during service visits.

Qualifications

  • Experience and skills in HVAC system maintenance, diagnostic assessments, and repairs for fan coil units and heat pumps.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, building mechanical systems, and refrigerant handling procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing technical issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and property managers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and technology related to HVAC maintenance and servicing.
  • Valid HVAC certification (e.g., refrigeration license, G3 or G2 gas license) and a valid driver’s license.
  • Previous experience in residential or commercial HVAC service is an asset.
  • Commitment to safety standards, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
