To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience with intrusion detection systems, firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security frameworks, and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of incident response and digital forensics techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Additional qualifications such as industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISM) and 2-4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security will be highly beneficial. Experience with cloud security platforms and remote work setups is preferred.
