You will be joining our team as an Assistant Manager in Commercial Lines Underwriting & Placement, where your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Preparation of RFQ for Fire, IAR, Liability & Engineering RFQ proposal
- Understanding the client's business to provide tailored solutions to their specific requirements
- Reviewing and correcting risk, risk audit reports, and portfolio GAP Analysis
- Identifying the insurer best suited for the company and the client, while strengthening relationships with insurers
- Preparation of RFQ & QCR, and selecting insurers based on Price, Coverage, Service, and Flexibility
- Assisting in Techno-marketing and communicating the USP in quotes
- Cross-selling and up-selling
- Post-policy placements
- Preparation of Risk Audit Report
- Taking ownership of retention of Commercial Lines business
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience of at least 3 to 4 years in CL Underwriting and Placement
- Strategic understanding of Corporate Sales and Business domains
- Good comprehension knowledge of insurance products including Property Insurance, Marine Insurance, Liability Insurance, etc.
- Excellent skills in communication and presentations
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
- Minimum Educational criteria: Graduation in any stream, MBA will be an added advantage
