As a Project Leader in this role, you will be responsible for leading and providing expertise to project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. You will collaborate with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conduct complex financial analysis to effectively achieve objectives. Additionally, you will represent the business unit and the organization as needed, build productive relationships, and mentor lower-level employees.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and provide expertise to functional project teams
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives
- Provide direction and guidance for process improvements and policy establishment
- Collaborate with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making
- Perform complex financial analysis for a financial function or business
- Oversee analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance
- Forecast financial results and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Represent the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes
- Represent the organization to external customers and clients
- Lead and contribute to complex projects, exercising independent judgment in resolving business issues
- Develop productive internal/external working relationships
- Provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline
- 7-10 years of work experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or related field
- Preferred certifications: Certified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
As a candidate for this role, you should possess knowledge and skills in accounting, auditing, automation, corporate finance, data analysis, financial analysis, financial modeling, financial planning, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, investments, key performance indicators (KPIs), process improvement, profit and loss (P&L) management, SAP applications, and variance analysis. Additionally, cross-organizational skills such as effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity will be beneficial.
