We're partnering with a leading global entertainment and media company to hire a Senior Consolidation Accountant. This is a high-impact role sitting at the center of a complex, multinational finance function — and it's built for someone who takes real ownership of their work.

You'll be a key contributor to the production of accurate US GAAP consolidated financial reporting, with broad exposure across external reporting, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and equity accounting. You'll also provide technical leadership to peers and drive process improvement across the team.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements — including detailed supporting schedules and workpapers
• Maintain consolidation accounts including intercompany balances and eliminations across multiple business units
• Extract, map, and reconcile trial balances across multiple accounting and reporting systems
• Prepare and validate support for system uploads, reconciling source ledgers to consolidation tools
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages and business unit balance sheet / income statement analytics
• Support preparation of financial statement footnotes and other external and internal reporting requirements
• Contribute to special projects including new accounting standard research, ERP/system implementations, and process enhancement

Requirements

• BS in Accounting (master's a plus)
• Active CPA license
• Minimum 2 years in public accounting or financial reporting — consolidation experience required
• Strong command of US GAAP, including cash flow statements, equity accounting, and foreign currency translation
• Experience with multinational organizations and intercompany eliminations
• Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, index-match, and comfort building complex workpapers
• Solid understanding of internal controls and how to design and maintain them
• Communicative, detail-oriented, and able to juggle competing deadlines without dropping the ball
• Must be able to work remote!
