Job Description

We're partnering with a leading global entertainment and media company to place a Consolidation & Reporting Accounting Manager. This is a senior-level, fully remote role with real ownership — you'll oversee the full scope of US GAAP consolidated financial reporting while leading a team of accounting professionals.

You'll sit at the intersection of technical accounting, systems, and people leadership. Beyond the core reporting cycle, you'll serve as the business lead for the consolidation system, drive process improvement, support audit, and play a key role in the transition to new operational and consolidation software. It's a broad remit with meaningful visibility to senior management.

Like the broader finance function here, this role comes with high expectations! You'll be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee monthly and quarterly compilation of financial statements at the consolidated reporting level and lender group level
  • Serve as the business lead for the BPC Consolidations system — including ongoing maintenance, ad hoc reporting, new report development, and team training
  • Oversee preparation of monthly reporting packs used in consolidated footnote preparation
  • Review financial analyses and support internal and external audit of financial processes and statements
  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Play a key role in the transition to new operational and consolidation software
  • Support special projects including integration of newly acquired businesses, ad hoc analysis, and department performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or MBA in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred; not required with an MBA)
  • Proven management experience — you've led a team and can set the tone on quality and accountability
  • Strong technical US GAAP background, including consolidations, equity roll, cash flow statements, and footnote preparation
  • Experience working within multinational organizations
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of financial reporting systems
  • Demonstrated track record as a project lead
  • Experience with software integration or ERP/consolidation system implementations a plus
  • Excellent communicator — able to build relationships up, down, and across the organization
  • Can work remotely!
