Sustainability Data Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical sustainability initiatives while collaborating with suppliers to ensure accurate carbon emissions data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate emissions data from suppliers across the supply chain.
• Design and deliver comprehensive communication packages to guide suppliers on data submission requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier sustainability teams for timely and accurate data delivery.
• Serve as the internal expert on sustainability accounting and GHG quantification methodologies.
• Develop documentation of sustainability accounting methodologies and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
• Implement robust data collection processes and internal controls to ensure data integrity.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, carbon accounting, or life-cycle assessment.
• Proven expertise in GHG emissions quantification methodologies and reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with assurance engagements or internal audits over sustainability metrics.
• Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of sustainability accounting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.
• Familiarity with data management tools and programming languages like SQL or Python.
