Home Health Aide

The candidate will provide experienced, compassionate, and dependable care for this aging and disabled Korean War veteran. The selected caregiver will assist with skilled and non-skilled Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living services.

Responsibilities

• assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming, medication/vitals monitoring, meal planning and preparation assistance, wash and fold laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Desired schedule is 10am to 1pm
• Responsibilities will evolve as patient ages.
• Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri.

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
• Knowledge of basic life support skills.
• Demonstrated competence in patient observation, vital signs measurement.
• Strong caregiving skills complemented by a compassionate approach to patient care and excellent communication abilities.
