Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose:

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's assets by preventing theft and fraud, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and environmental programs. This position involves utilizing various tools and strategies to minimize loss, including:

• Identifying and addressing incidents of theft and fraud
• Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports
• Monitoring physical security measures within the store
• Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems
• Fostering a culture of shrink elimination

Additionally, the Specialist will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed and accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries
• Preserving evidence for legal proceedings
• Interacting with law enforcement and providing testimony in criminal and civil court actions

The Loss Prevention Specialist must also:

• Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
• Carry out responsibilities with a focus on minimizing risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the company
• Exhibit integrity at all times while responding to operational concerns from all associates
• Stay aligned with store-specific business objectives while supporting crucial asset protection activities

Compensation for this position starts at $20.50 per hour.
