Who You Are

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist II to join our Payroll team and support our growing international workforce. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or someone who is looking to re-enter the workforce after a career break. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn, grow, and gain exposure to global payroll operations and compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring employees across countries like the United States, India, Mexico, and the Philippines are paid accurately based on their time worked, including overtime, shift premiums, and other pay rules. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and learning how systems and processes come together this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Time & Attendance Operations

You will serve as a key administrator for our time tracking systems, preserving the integrity of our global workforce data. Your day-to-day will involve auditing employee time entries for accuracy and completeness. When issues arise—such as missing punches, timecard discrepancies, or pending manager approvals—you will be the go-to person to resolve them, ensuring a seamless flow of data.

Support Global Payroll Excellence

You will support our global payroll cycles by validating time data before it is processed. This includes ensuring employees are compensated correctly based on different factors, including total hours worked, complex overtime rules, and various shift differentials like night shift premiums.

Compliance & Global Pay Rules

In this role, you will become an expert in the labor requirements of multiple regions. You will learn and support the specific time tracking and pay rules for the US, Mexico, Philippines, and India, assisting the team in maintaining strict compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.

Empower Teams through Training & Support

You will act as the face of time and attendance for our staff. From supporting the onboarding of new hires to coordinating training sessions for managers, you’ll teach teams how to navigate our systems—covering everything from the basics of clocking in and out to the nuances of pay rules. You will serve as a dedicated point of contact for any attendance-related inquiries.

Drive Systems & Process Improvement

We believe in constant evolution. You will partner with Payroll and HR teams to identify bottlenecks and improve our time tracking workflows. Whether you are testing and implementing new system updates or collaborating with external vendors to enhance configurations, your input will help scale our operations.

Deliver Reporting & Strategic Insights

Your work will provide the data-driven insights needed for leadership to make informed decisions. You will assist in preparing comprehensive reports on overtime trends, attendance patterns, and exceptions. Additionally, you will play a supportive role in audits and internal reviews, ensuring our records remain "audit-ready" at all times.

What You Bring

2 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, or data/process roles

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience working with systems, data, and spreadsheets

Comfortable with international payroll nuances and time-tracking systems.

Strong communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently during the evening shift.
