Job description

High Tech Communications, a successful Managed Services, Datacentre, Cybersecurity and Unified Cloud Communications provider, is looking for a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team.

Since 1985, High Tech Communications has assisted organizations of all sizes to grow revenue, save time, enhance productivity, effectively communicate and improve the bottom line through the integration of leading-edge technology, telephony products and software solutions.

We are looking to add a technology-agnostic solution-based and experienced customer success professional, who can help drive challenging and complex conversations with our current customer base, regarding future-proofing and securing their technology stack. This person should feel equally adept at managing the customer's journey from small B2B technology sales from a pricelist … to managing large transformative technology projects and quotations.

The ideal applicant is self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and possesses an overwhelming desire to succeed. They will be a creative customer-focused individual who drives sales growth with existing customer accounts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our organizational, achieving monthly targets by utilizing strategic account management that recognizes existing customers are a critical revenue source for our organization.

A modern sales leader will leverage key account management processes and tools that not only retain clients, but also assists to identify, develop and execute on growth opportunities within our account base.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline and opportunity management including preparation of monthly and quarterly business planning sessions, forecasts, weekly updates, and CRM updates
  • Develop, execute, and track innovative and individual account sales strategies for premise and cloud services
  • Reaching out to customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and with other apps and tools
  • Identify, build out, and monitor the account growth pipeline to ensure a continuous population of immediate and long-term growth opportunities
  • Work with our team to track technology trends and develop new product solutions
  • Follow up on leads and account inquiries and track progress
  • Create interest in our products and services and work diligently with our business development team to identify, target, and open opportunities for engagements
  • Provide customer feedback and commentary to marketing and product teams to help us continually refine our messaging
  • Participating in training and launch of newly recruited vendor relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in outbound B2B sales ideally selling a service in a telecom or IT-related industry
  • Proven ability to run discovery calls and product demonstrations
  • Proven experience in server and storage hardware, software, and networking sales
  • Experience with telecom hardware and software sales
  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge regarding IT Support & Managed Services
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal and professional demeanor
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to take initiative in a challenging environment
  • Demonstrated history of job stability – We invest in our employees. We are looking for candidates who want a career
  • IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • UCaaS, SaaS, or Cloud service sales: 5 years (Preferred)
  • On-Prem telecommunications Sales or Account Management: (Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary commensurate with experience
  • Uncapped Commission based on exceeding monthly targets
