Role Overview
The Merchandiser – International Business will be responsible for managing end-to-end coordination with global clients, ensuring seamless execution from product development to final delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of the bags, backpacks, and luggage category, along with the ability to manage client expectations, internal teams, and timelines effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for international clients.
- Showcase product ranges and capabilities aligned to client requirements.
- Understand client systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of all updates, approvals, and deliverables.
Product Development & Approvals
- Coordinate with clients on design briefs and product specifications.
- Manage approvals for:
- Creative designs
- Pre-production samples (PPS)
- Labels, trims, and packaging
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal execution teams.
Order Execution & Production Coordination
- Work closely with design, sourcing, and factory teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
- Troubleshoot issues proactively to avoid delays or quality concerns.
System & Data Management
- Manage client portals for:
- Uploading product details and updates
- Downloading artworks, specifications, and order-related data
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of all stages of the order lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including:
- Design teams
- Vendors and sourcing partners
- Manufacturing units
- Ensure a seamless flow of information between clients and internal teams.
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of the bags, backpacks, and luggage category, including:
Qualifications
- Minimum: Graduate in any discipline
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent)
Experience Requirement
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in merchandising, preferably in bags, luggage, or related categories
- Proven track record of managing international clients and end-to-end order execution

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
