Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations for residents in a skilled nursing setting and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapies such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility training, and manual therapy as appropriate.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, document outcomes in the resident’s chart, and assist with discharge planning.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in care conferences, and communicate progress with families or guardians.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance during therapy sessions; maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Requirements

• Active Maryland physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting on a 13-week travel assignment; 35 hours per week guaranteed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient in documentation and clinical collaboration.
• Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment.
