Senior Apparel Merchandiser & Production - Menswear (CORE TEAM)

As a Senior Merchandiser - Operations & Production at Hespoke, a modern online menswear brand, your primary focus will be on ensuring quality, fit, and detail in the garments. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from sampling to production planning, inventory control, and vendor management.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Production Planning & Execution**
• Plan and manage end-to-end production cycles for ongoing and new styles.
• Forecast requirements for fresh production and restocking based on sales and inventory movement.
• Execute size-wise cutting plans and colorwise production priorities.
• Ensure timely dispatch readiness in line with an on-demand business model.
• **Sampling & Development**
• Coordinate sample development from CAD pattern stage to final approval.
• Ensure patterns are made as per brand size charts.
• Conduct thorough sample checks for fit, finish, and construction.
• Drive corrections and approvals within tight timelines.
• **Quality Control**
• Oversee inline and final quality checks across production units.
• Identify issues proactively and provide immediate solutions.
• Ensure consistency in finishing, measurements, and overall garment quality.
• **Vendor Management & Sourcing**
• Coordinate with existing production units and onboard new vendors when required.
• Maintain strong industry contacts for urgent production needs.
• Source trims, packaging materials, and other inputs with cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality benchmarks with vendors.
• **Inventory & Logistics Management**
• Maintain clear and accurate tracking of raw materials, trims, and finished goods.
• Plan inward and outward timely movement of inventory.
• Monitor stagnant stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Define reorder quantities and safety stock levels.
• **Documentation & System Management**
• Create and manage Purchase Orders, Challans, and Barcode systems.
• Ensure all records are updated, organized, and accessible.
• **Fabric & Trim Understanding**
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Ability to match trims accurately with fabric colors and finishes.
• **Coordination & Communication**
• Act as the central point between design, production, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain clarity in communication across all stakeholders.
• Drive timely execution in a fast-moving environment.
