Lab Technician Pharma

Qualification Required:

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) – Mandatory
• Relevant experience in pharmacy/academic laboratory preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty members during practical and laboratory sessions.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, specimens, and materials required for experiments.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the laboratory premises.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of chemicals and laboratory instruments.
• Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and consumption details of lab materials.
• Support calibration, maintenance, and functioning of laboratory equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory norms.
• Assist in conducting internal practical examinations and assessments.
• Coordinate with the department regarding procurement and laboratory requirements.
• Maintain documentation related to laboratory operations and records.

Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of pharmacy laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in coordination with faculty and students.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.
