## Join Guidewire's Product Strategy Team

We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer III to join our Product Strategy team, where you'll drive operational excellence and transformative innovation by embedding AI and Gen. AI across our product portfolio. Based in San Mateo with the flexibility to work remotely, you'll collaborate in a culture that values curiosity, teamwork, and continuous improvement while working with cutting-edge technologies to shape the future of insurance technology.

As a Machine Learning Engineer III, you'll be a primary stakeholder and key developer for the complete end-to-end ML Ops lifecycle at Guidewire. This role is critical to designing, testing, and building infrastructure for Guidewire's AI and ML models, creating data solutions, developing automated systems, and deploying models at scale. We're seeking a passionate engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and is excited to contribute to Guidewire's mission of transforming the P&C insurance industry through innovation and customer-centricity.

## What You'll Do

You'll lead the design, development, and deployment of robust ML Ops infrastructure to support Guidewire's AI and ML initiatives. Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and automated systems for model training, testing, and deployment will be core to your responsibilities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient AI solutions that address evolving customer needs.

Developing and implementing best practices for monitoring, versioning, and maintaining ML models in production environments is essential. You'll drive adoption of AI and Gen. AI capabilities across Guidewire's product portfolio, supporting operational excellence and transformative innovation. Your contributions will help launch new AI-powered products and features, ensuring measurable value and customer success. Additionally, you'll mentor and support team members in AI/ML engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous learning.

At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.

## What You'll Bring

You should have a demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement. Strong experience in ML Ops is essential, including designing and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines. You'll need proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Tensor. Flow, Py. Torch, and Scikit-learn.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes is required. A solid understanding of data engineering, model monitoring, and CI/CD for ML systems is necessary. We're looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication abilities—someone who can work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities. Your commitment to Guidewire's values of curiosity, collaboration, and customer-centricity will be important to your success here.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience. Experience with insurance technology, large-scale data systems, or regulated industries is a plus. Familiarity with Gen. AI, data privacy, and security best practices would strengthen your candidacy.

## Your Impact

We believe in clarity and setting you up for success. In your first six months, you'll lead the development and deployment of ML Ops infrastructure for new AI-powered products, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient operations. You'll deliver measurable outcomes by enabling rapid model iteration, reducing deployment times, and supporting Guidewire's ambitious AI adoption goals. Your work will directly support Guidewire's mission to deliver transformative innovation and measurable value to customers, influencing the future direction of our products and the broader insurance industry.
