Key Responsibilities – Analyst (Debt Syndication)
Transaction Execution Support
- Assist in execution of debt syndication transactions including term loans, working capital facilities, and structured finance
- Support senior team members in managing deal flow from origination to closure
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress of mandates
Financial Analysis & Credit Assessment
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and key financial ratios of clients
- Support preparation of credit appraisal notes, financial models, and cash flow projections
- Evaluate debt servicing capacity, leverage levels, and financial risks
Financial Modeling
- Build and maintain financial models for debt structuring, repayment schedules, and scenario analysis
- Conduct sensitivity analysis on key variables such as interest rates, revenue projections, and costs
Lender & Stakeholder Coordination
- Assist in liaising with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for deal discussions
- Support communication with clients, lenders, and advisors during various stages of transactions
- Help track lender feedback, queries, and approvals
Preparation of Deal Materials
- Prepare information memorandums (IMs), teasers, and lender presentations
- Develop detailed financial summaries and business overviews for credit evaluation
- Ensure high-quality documentation and presentation standards
Due Diligence & Documentation
- Support financial and operational due diligence processes
- Assist in managing data rooms and organizing required documentation
- Track documentation requirements and ensure timely submission
Market Research & Industry Analysis
- Conduct research on credit markets, lending trends, and sector-specific financing dynamics
- Analyze interest rate trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
- Identify potential lenders and financing opportunities
Pipeline Tracking & MIS
- Maintain internal databases and track deal pipeline, timelines, and milestones
- Prepare periodic reports and updates for senior management
- Ensure accurate documentation of deal progress
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal processes
- Stay updated on RBI regulations and lending norms impacting transactions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (or pursuing) from a reputed institution
- 0–3 years of experience in debt syndication, corporate banking, credit analysis, or financial advisory
- Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios, and basic credit evaluation
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; good presentation skills (PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
