Role Overview

The Quality Inspector is a floor-level quality role responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products at one or more stages of the production process — Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Process Quality Control (PQC), or Outgoing Quality Control (OQC). You will work directly under the Quality Head and be the eyes and hands of the quality function on the shop floor.

We are hiring 2 to 3 Quality Inspectors for our Mahatpur facility.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Checking

• Inspect incoming raw materials and components against defined acceptance criteria (IQC)
• Monitor in-process quality at assigned production line stations (PQC)
• Conduct final product inspection before dispatch clearance (OQC)
• Use measuring instruments, gauges, and basic testing tools as required

Documentation

• Fill in inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance reports accurately and on time
• Maintain daily inspection logs as per the format given
• Report any recurring defect patterns to the Quality Head immediately

Rejection & Holds

• Identify and segregate non-conforming material or products
• Tag rejected lots clearly and keep them separate from accepted stock
• Never allow a rejected batch to move forward without Quality Head approval

Coordination

• Work closely with the production team to resolve quality issues at the source
• Support IQC process by coordinating with the Stores team on incoming material
• Participate in root cause discussions when defects are identified

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or 12th pass with science background
• Experience: 1–3 years in a quality inspection role in a manufacturing company
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection methods and simple measuring instruments (vernier caliper, multimeter, etc.)
• Ability to read and follow inspection checklists and work instructions
• Good eyesight and attention to detail — this role requires spotting defects visually and physically
• Honest and firm — must be comfortable rejecting non-conforming material even under production pressure
• Prior experience in electronics, electrical, or FMCG manufacturing preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to IQC, PQC, or OQC processes in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Basic familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality documentation
• Knowledge of electronic components such as PCBs, connectors, cables, or passive components

Work Location & Conditions

• Full-time, on-site at our Mahatpur, HP facility
• 6-day work week with fixed shift timings
• Active floor role — involves standing, moving between stations, and handling components

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Una, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education

• Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience

• Quality management: 3 years (Preferred)
