A leading, award-winning engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of building projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and related structures
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
- Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions and ensure design compliance
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and standards
- Identify and resolve structural design challenges
- Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices
Qualifications
- B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related field)
- PE license preferred (EIT considered)
- 4+ years of experience in vertical structural design (commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, or federal projects)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and structural standards
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Sustainable/resilient design experience is a plus
