We are looking for a passionate educational leader to join the Lutsel K'e Dene School team. Teach a diverse curriculum while ensuring educational engagement and emotional support for students in a close-knit Chipewyan community. Your expertise in inclusive and culturally sensitive teaching will enhance classroom experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction in various subjects
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies
- Support the social-emotional development of students
- Collaborate with colleagues for student success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education required
- Preferred experience teaching upper elementary grades
- Knowledge of inclusive educational practices
- Experience in Indigenous or northern communities is an asset
- Strong commitment to culturally responsive teaching
