Shape financial operations and support healthcare services as a Comptroller with the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority in Inuvik. Lead financial planning, reporting, and budgeting efforts for the Beaufort Delta Region. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Territorial Director, Financial Services, providing operational oversight in a complex public sector environment.
You'll ensure compliance with GNWT legislation and financial standards while assisting in informed financial decision-making across healthcare operations for the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
- Support quarterly variance reporting and year-end financial activities
- Monitor financial operations and manage revenue streams
- Provide impactful financial analysis and recommendations
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, PSAS, and GNWT policies Requirements:
- CPA designation with five years of relevant experience
- One year of supervisory experience in finance
- Proven financial management in complex organizations
- Experience in cost-saving and revenue optimization strategies
