Job description

Golden Arrow Transportation requires a full-time Service Truck Mechanic for the Fort McMurray Location. This is a camp position with a rotation of 14 days on/14 days off. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a fleet of School Buses and Motor Coaches. Golden Arrow offers an above average work environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for the Mechanic position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Ticket
• Valid (or willing to obtain) class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license with airbrake endorsement
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
• Shift work required – 14/14

As a mechanic, your duties are as follows:

• Maintenance/repair of motor coaches
• CVIP Inspections
• Respond to breakdowns
• Spring and winter maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager

Pay: $54.74 per hour

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Ticket (required)
