Job Description
Golden Arrow Industrial Ltd is looking to hire on site Industrial drivers for its Lloydminster, Alberta location. If you have a clean driver’s abstract, enjoy driving and working with the public, presentable and friendly, please see job description below. Schedule is Monday to Thursday; Day shift 6:30AM to 5:30PM.
We will have additional spots opening for the following dates:
- May 2-15 (Everyday): 1 Day shift driver (6:30AM to 5:30PM) and 1 night shift driver (6:30PM to 5:30AM)
- May 13-June 13 (Everyday): 2 Day shift driver (6:30AM to 5:30PM) and 12night shift driver (6:30PM to 5:30AM)
- June 12-30(Everyday): 1 Day shift driver (6:30AM to 5:30PM) and 1 night shift driver (6:30PM to 5:30AM)
Please note that this is not a camp position. You need to be a Lloydminster resident in order for you to qualify for this position.
Responsibilities
- Drive company shuttle buses to transport workers from camp to worksite.
- Complete required paperwork such as log sheets, dispatch sheets, DVIRS, FLRA’S
- Notify dispatchers or company mechanics of vehicle problems.
- Operate all company equipment needed to communicate with company dispatchers such as radio, to receive information, updates, and passenger locations.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, fueled, and safe bus
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Shuttle drivers require minimum 3 years industrial shuttle bus driving experience or 5 years’ heavy trucking required
- Valid class 2 license with air brakes or class 1 and clean driving record
- CSO, CSTS, First Aid and OSSA required
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate in English (written and oral)
Additional Information:
- Must have a clean background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employement).
- Must has clean 5-10 year driver abstract.
- All evaluations will take place at our Edmonton location.
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $27.60 per hour
