Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To assist Shift In charge Landside operations in monitoring on ground & following up for smooth traffic flow, infrastructure development, and Safety & Security in the Airport road network with close coordination with Stakeholders for efficient & safe passage to all interested parties, stakeholders , passengers using the IGI road network.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- To coordinate with Delhi Traffic Police and Delhi Police to ensure smooth flow of traffic within the area of responsibility of IGIA.
- No. of Instances of Congestion.
- 100% functionality and maintenance of security equipment.
- Take regular rounds for the perimeter area within the responsibility of IGIA.
- Timely Monitoring and checking in order to ensure the regulatory compliance and records.
- Number of observations by the regulatory authority during Inspection/Audit on this aspect.
- To assist shift in charge in the event of any contingency at Terminal like bomb threat, unlawful seizure/hijacking of aircraft or any other act of unlawful interference with civil aviation operations.
- Number of meetings organized
- Exercise operational control over Black and Yellow Taxis and premium Taxi operators. Ensure that any operational issues between various taxi operators are amicably resolved without any disruption to the normal operations.
- Minutes of meeting and number of corrective actions taken.
- Issues resolved by interacting with concerned stakeholders
- Assist Shift In charge in Guarding/enforcement of access control at VIP parking at Terminal and other vital installations within the area of responsibility.
- Number of security breach reported and necessary action taken
- Maintain effective liaison with other airport departments and relevant law enforcement authorities
- Number of structured meetings
- Co-ordinate and carry out enforcement drive against unauthorized parking on Northern Access Road and more than prescribed time at the dep/arrival forecourt
- Number of Chalan
- Revenue generated
- Assist Shift In charge in Monitoring, checking & upkeep of the defined service level agreements by agencies operating under the land side management department at respective terminals.
- 100 % compliance of SLAs with vendor agencies
- Number of observations made by regulatory Authority
- Ensure the corrective actions taken promptly on various observations made by Shift in charge and senior management officials.
- Number of observations cleared
- Ensure removal of Touts/Hawkers and unauthorized vendors.
- Number of new initiatives.
- Ensure smooth operations of Shuttle Bus Service / Inter Terminal Transfer Coaches & Ground Transport services, smooth operations of Public Transport Center and hustle free to & fro movement of vehicles to Loading Docks.
- Number of formal and informal meetings with all the stakeholders.
- Execute routes for VIPs and other dignitaries’ movement to Airport. Ensure proper parking arrangements at VIP Parking area, Ceremonial Lounge area and other Parking areas.

- Adhering to AOP.
- Optimum utilization of available manpower & equipment’s and to reduce the avoidable expenditure to organization.
- Assist in Revenue generation initiatives of approx. Rs. 12 Cr by ensuring smooth functioning of pick up lane concept and provide necessary support to commercial and DAPS team.
- Removal of approx. 1000 vehicles from unauthorized parking location to prevent revenue leakage.

- 100 personnel working under the direct supervision & control
- Dealing with Delhi Traffic Police & Delhi Police, CISF , PM Security and direct interaction with senior dignitaries.
- Ensuring smooth flow of traffic at departure and arrival forecourt area.
- Approximately 70 RAXA staff for traffic management at T3 and 32 Peregrine Security Personnel.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate (in any Discipline).
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Total relevant experience of 7 years out of which, at least five years should be in security.
- 5 Years’ experience in supervisor role in any security organization.
- Individual with background of uniformed services and aviation security will be preferred.
- Must know four-wheeler driving and must be in possession of valid driving license.
- Fluency in English and Hindi
