Job Purpose

• Assist in drafting , negotiating and finalization of contracts and contracts administration (Buy and Sell Side) related to the following:
• All the contracts related to Smart Metering projects
• Smart Meter Supply Contracts
• Technology Service contracts i..e bundled services
• Consumer Indexing and Installation Contracts
• Cable supply contracts
• Supply contracts for all other auxiliary items i.e SMC boxes/LTCT etc.
• All other contracts/engagement letters required for Smart Meter Projects
• Trouble shooting the contractual issues through out the tenure of all these contracts
• Contracts with Utility

Any other activities as may be assigned from time to time.

• Supply contracts for all other auxiliary items i.e. SMC boxes/LTCT etc. Trouble shooting the contractual issues through out the tenure of all these contracts
• Contracts with Utility
• Time
• Cost of savings (from Claims raised by the Vendors/Contractors
• Savings or obtaining claim amount from Utility

Any other assignment as may be directed by the management.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS To handle the Project value ranging from:

Buy Side – Rs 3-4000 Crs

Sell Side – Rs 7-8000 Crs

Education Qualifications

Education Qualification

• B.E/ MBA (Preferrable additional qualification e.g. Post Graduation from NICMAR and/or Law degree etc.)

Other Skills

• Well-versed with FIDIC Contract &
• NEC, JCT contract Models.
• Well-versed with International Contract Management practices.
• Aware of latest INCOTERMS, international trade and logistics procedures.
• Should be familiar with Indian contract act, Limitation act, sales of goods act , Labour regulations, Customs regulations, taxation rules etc.

Relevant Experience

• 8 Years of experience with at least 4 years of experience in the Contracts
• Should have handled multiple small projects in parallel.
• Knowledge in arbitration and claim management will be an added advantage.
