G M Fabrics is hiring "Export Merchandiser" urgently.

Work location: Marol, Andheri East

Job role:

• Handle customer inquiries, understand their requirements, and present suitable products to secure orders.
• Coordinate with the Design and Product Development teams for the development of new products as per customer specifications and market requirements.
• Arrange and dispatch samples to customers for approvals and ensure timely follow-up on feedback.
• Process approved orders and communicate complete order details to the production team for execution.
• Closely monitor production progress with the factory and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding order status, production progress, shipment schedules, and dispatch details.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Planning, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Accounts to ensure smooth order execution
• Monitor customer payment status and follow up for timely receipt of payments as per agreed terms.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, shipments, customer communications, and merchandising reports.
• Collect customer feedback, comments, and market inputs and share them with Management and relevant teams for continuous improvement and product development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and support business development initiatives for new customers and markets.

Qualification & Experience :

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in Export Merchandising, preferably in the Home Textile / Textile industry.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and merchandising documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
